No easy choice for game 7 starter. Totally fine with Morton.

Verlander would have probably pitched a complete game if he had the same strike zone as the Yankees had.

What a great game from Justin, and the whole Astros team. This was the fun-loving, reckless abandon team I was hoping for.
It looks like if it will be a close play at home the Astros should always send the runner.

The Yankees have trouble the whole series making that play.

Finally, even though they didn't actually face each other, in the avian battle, Peacock was the winner and Bird was the loser.

McCann hasn't a lot of hits, this postseason but the ones he has hit came at the right time.

It isn't possible to give enough praise to Altuve. Correa was great on both sides of the ball.

Huge win for the Astros. But we need to win one more, and no lead will be safe if we can ever even get a lead.

Hinch, "Morton has been unlucky, so we'll go with him."

That's the kind of logic that drives me insane. Let's just go with the unluckiest son of a biotch this season in the biggest game of the year. But it is what it is. I'm all in.

Man, now I just want the image of Justin Verlander holding Jose Altuve on his shoulders surrounded by screaming Astros when they win the WS.

Sabathia is a troublesome pitcher for HOU since he relies on craft over heat.

    Let's f*** over him anyway.

If there's a guy I want to face in game 7, it's Sabathia. He's someone who can be hit and hit hard.

Our options are McCullers on short rest, McHugh, or Morton on regular rest. There’s no obvious choice there so might as well start with the guy who was due to start and have the other guys ready to pitch as well.

CC after a loss is like 10-0 and with like a 1.5 ERA lol

he's the definition of a big game pitcher

agreed. only concern is that LMJ pitching out of the pen is different than him starting but he's on short rest.

i think we're gonna go this order: morton -> mchugh -> LMJ and hope we can get a lot out of them before micromanaging the rest of our bullpen. mchugh IMO is gonna be the x-factor. he pitched well last outing.

We need a lot of offense tomorrow for Morton's pitching.

I wouldn't be shocked if Devo got a chance to right the ship tomorrow even in a tight game.

If I even see Liriano warming up I'll drive to MMP and tackle him before he gets called into the game. Liriano up/tied/down by 2 or less and it's essentially throwing in the towel.
