I never said he would be immune to injury you dumbass. You're the one who said it and projected it to me! I have no idea if you're suffering from dementia or w/e but stfu you dumbass.
Sorry, I might have typed that quickly, I meant since the ankle was dislocated it tore all the ligaments making it a lot longer rehab, the ER Dr and Ortho told me if while injuring the ankle I could have broken it instead of the dislocation it would have been a faster recovery. Unfortunately once it was dislocated it just sucked because ligaments etc heal slower/rehab longer. So I guess they meant if I could have had a theoretical choice, breaking it would have been great but just a freak accident. You're definitely right though in some situations they can do that, just not on a dislocation.
Good god that injury was horrendous. Gordon get that surgery as fast as you can and hopefully you'll make it back as soon as possible. These guys are being paid millions but they are still human. Hope he finds a way back to compete at the highest level.
I saw the injury and it was extremely gruesome. I really hope he comes back strong. These type of injuries can cause a player to become a shell of their former self.

Very fortunate that there's no ligament damage. This could be like a Paul George recovery. Most if it will probably be mental recovery to trust that leg again.
How this even happened is what is not talked about. Seems like he was trying to scoot around body traffic while in mid air and contorted his landing leg the wrong way. This injury is one for the ages and needs to be scientifically examined for the precise circumstances that caused it. Google and no one else even comes close with answers.
hayward like most nba players including our very own cp3 was not in game shape. He went up for the lob and came down too heavy. Probably already tired from running up and down the court a few times, and remmeber no more 20 second timeouts. Harden came into this season prepared
Apologies for the bump of this old thread. But man.... watching his game today against Rockets, the dude is flat out scared to drive or take contact. Be interesting to see if he gets that killer instict back.
he’s their CP3 contract CP3’s play has declined this year, but he’s still easily better than Hayward, and at least the Rockets really need what he provides...Boston does not need Hayward...they don’t even start him
