MAN, I got super pumped and excited after that dunk! I was legit shocked and amazed to the point I was questioning whether I remembered him dunking at all last year. He looked superb tonight. His shot wasn't falling but my lorddd he looked quick and athletic as I ever remember seeing him.
Gordon played absolutely unconscious tonight on the offensive end. And one after and one after and one. Gotta keep his minutes low so his legs can always be this fresh.
Honestly so glad Morey did not blink and give him up for Melo since I believe EG is the better player then a washed up 33 year old Melo
Every time he got the ball, I just knew something good was going to happen. He can finish at the rim and if he plays like this all year....the NBA better watch out when CP3 gets into form...I am also proud of Anderson the way he puts all the offseason chatter away and just plays basketball. He played average defense which is about 5 steps above his playing level. Harden play good defense which he too played out of his normal play. Everyone else played as expected. Gordon has always been a great defender, he does get caught sometimes with his back/side to the player he is guarding but can foul and prevent an easy layup or dunk. Loved the way CP3 didn't back down when on the low block against a bigger player, put a body on them and used his strength. I think there was 3-4 times they tried and he knocked the ball away or stood his ground. This team can switch as well as the warriors do and they are the best at it.
Gordon absolutely murdered them last night. Got 24 points without even making a three. He should repeat as sixth man of the year.
All preseason he has been playing this way, I knew once the season started we were going to see him turn it up a notch or 2. As you can see I am pumped, best team I have ever seen put together for the Rockets, now there will be the Debbie downers that will come in and play First Take and say all the BS Steven A. Smith would say. I get it the rockets can be better, they did a hell of a job in the hardest arena to play in with all those crazy emotions running high. If Swaggy P wouldn't have went off this could of been a different story line.
