LOL Cool story ESPN...



Yeah, just be prepared for all the networks/talking heads to ignore the Rockets W.

 

Obviously Chris is deferring to Harden and getting others looks. He's looking to find where he fits in. Not gonna happen after a few practices and preseason games. I'm sure he'll be more efficient with his shooting, his D will continue to be outstanding, and he still had 11 assists tonight. I could easily see him averaging a double double this year.

 

TNT is such a joke. That postgame analysis was awful. They gave the Rockets no credit for winning the game and said Chris Paul is a bad fit on this team. Bullshit. Chris Paul made a big difference in this game, especially on defense. He was playing with a bum knee in his first game with the team and still produced. The pick of Tucker and LMM are going to be huge for this team. I saw a team that gave much better effort defensively than last year's team.

 

the offense with CP3 and Harden on the court at the same time is a little awkward, but I am very confident that things will get sorted out

this is CP3's 3rd game with Harden (I don't count that game against that Chinese team)...these are 2 high IQ players who want to make this work, and D'antoni is 1 of the best offensive minds in the game

CP3 has never played in an uptempo system like this one and next to a player like Harden...things will take time, but once they gel this team will be very scary

 

I don’t get how anyone can judge the Paul harden combo right now. James Harden hasn’t played with a healthy Chris Paul yet.

I don't think CP3 is the one that needs to change, Harden does.

CP3 has never been an offball player, it's kind of silly to expect that now. Harden has been, on team USA and a little bit for OKC. He has some experience cutting...he just doesn't do it.

If CP3 is the leader everyone says he is, he'll have this dude playing SG truly at least for the portions they are in the game together.

 

I seriously loathe their post game "analysis."

Half the highlights they are all talking over each other, while not even talking about the game. Three quarters of the banter is Shaq and Charles ripping on one another. I just don't understand how people defend this **** as entertaining. Give me straight up basketball analysis every day of the week please.

Then Charles and Shaq each take turns telling the audience how CP3 on this team is not going to work. How worthless he is going to be. We just beat the ****ing Warriors on the road on opening night, right after they received their championship rings, because, you know, they are the champs. Chris Paul is obviously injured, they'd probably know that if they actually watched the game. And he's so worthless and useless to this offense that he only managed to get 11 assists, in his first fkn game as a Rocket.

Lol at Tilman at the end hugging the players...the dude is really passionate about this team, good things are coming.

 

Cant believe how this game turned. This game looked over after the 3rd quarter.. Then 4th quarter CP3 turned up. Still mad at Harden for that last step-back 3.. I wanted him to take it to the rim..

The TNT commentator seriously made me pissed off and turn off my tv when he said Durant shot went in. I came back though after checking the score to see the interview.

With Nick Young going cosmic in Iggy's minutes, he probably would have hurt them.

 

Now that was an exciting freaking win. Coach that's why you are paid the big bucks and im just a fan. The 8 man rotation worked to perfection.

Man I hate the game was only on TNT. That clown ash cast of Kenny, Chuck and Shaq needs to be fired.

They don't even consider that CP3 got the Rockets back in the game and that he was hurt. Maybe that's why he didn't close the game as well. It's sad really, I don't know how much attention these guys pay to the game.
