This, Chris Pauls value is here at worst and his steals and disruption at key points of the game was huge. Yes the chemistry could use some work, but this is a really good start. Look at the turnover stats throughout the season attacking the basket and finishing. Better shots were taken not made!

Best game of Rockets for recent years!

Give tons of credits to our bench. Amazing.

    CP3: 11 assists, 1 turnover
    Harden: 10 assists, 3 turnovers

Anyone who says Paul doesn't fit here, needs to GTFO.

His gritty defense was a major factor in helping us comeback while Harden was on the bench. In years past, this would have not happened at all.

Steph was really getting killed on the switch with Harden.

So from what they’re saying, the offense is not gonna work. First of all, that’s quite the hot take after one game. Second, 122-point broken offense seems like a good start to me. Imagine when we figure out the Chris Paul “problem.”

I do agree though. We clearly need to change the strategy when both Harden and Paul are on the floor together. Gotta utilize their skills more.

At the start of the 4th it was 4 quick assists to CP3 with a 10-0 run that gave us the momentum but he dosent fit

It’s hard to see Harden and CP3 meshing perfectly on offense.

But old CP3 still eeks our 11 assists, barely any TOs, has great defensive, grabs 8 boards.

I see CP3s best role on this team as thebPG version of Draymond Green for us. 10 ppg, 10 apg, 7 rpg, great d

What, should he get an award of some kind that recognizes him as a good coach?

The sad part about all the hating is that it effects the opinion of a lot of people (->effects votings (like mvp) also). They watch this BS and take the opinion of those monkeys as the truth.
These are the exact same monkeys that said "westbrook has no help, he has to take all the shots" last year which leads to a narrative which leads to the public opinion: "Westbrook has no help, he has to get a tripple double for them to win" -> Harden gets snubbed again.

A big problem for the Rockets was how fast their offense dropped when Harden wasn't in the game.

This won't be a problem anymore. That way, CP3 already has a huge impact.

We actually CAME BACK IN THE GAME DURING THE TIME HARDEN SAT IN THE 4th!

So they are already wrong, CP3 got the team back down from 17 or so maybe it was 15...anyways, he led the comeback to even make it a game in the first place as Harden rested.

As I said, CP3 will not work unless there some huge change in what he has been doing his whole bball life. And the small chance of outscoring them, happened tonight. We were on fire in last quarter and their best defender was out. You can call it luck, but a win is a win.

    Harden was great tonight btw

Last year we would have lost bc James was sitting on bench. Now hardenis energized and we get solid pg play when hardenis sitting

Quietly perfect defensive timing by Harden on the final play. Durant was ready to take the shot with .9 seconds left and Harden delayed him.
