Didn't know Jayz and CP3 were so close. Once we didn't get Melo, whom I assume the Rockets made clear to him that they would target when we traded for CP3, I wonder who Morey has told Harden and CP3 our next target is for us to be able to compete with the Warriors. I doubt that Harden, CP3, or Morey feel like this teams has enough to BEAT the Warriors; even if they feel that they can compete with them.

Wow I bet it never even occurred to Jerry West to ask for a PG in return for his PG.

Chris Paul is better than T-Mac ever was.

Don't confuse physical talent for actual impact.

If you tell me I can draft T-Mac or Chris Paul right now in a hypothetical draft, I take Paul every single time. T-Mac was a mental midget.

Never heard these quotes before. Paul telling JayZ he's "had the ball in my hands way too much, I'm so tired of having to dribble the ball all the time", and "I'd love to be able to get on a wing and shoot the ball." And then he points out how close he is to Trevor, and how life between games is important -- presumably meaning having a close friend on the team is important.

    Trevor ain't getting traded. :D

Teodosic is their PG with Rivers and Bev (and Lou on occasion) as backup. Seems like we didn't really solve their PG problems with the pieces we sent. But I also doubt Clippers were open to taking on Ryno's contract when they already have an expensive, injury-prone starting PF.

Yeah.... there is a reason that Paul and Harden were not that heart broken over the Anthony fallout.

When it came down to it, no one wanted to deal Ariza for Anthony. When you think you can possibly get Anthony for Anderson you are all in..... as soon as other players names are discussed, that shut down real fast.

Aside from the fact Teodosic wasn't signed until July 10th, ten days after Paul hits the market, which is an eternity for signing superstars, so they only had Rivers when Paul would have signed on July 1st or 2nd; Morey would need to send out $8m in salary ontop of Ryno's contract in order to pay Paul the max. I guess RocketsFido figures Morey doesn't say to Jerry West, "To match salaries, who do you want between Lou and Beverley" and West doesn't say Beverley.

Hell, even with Teodosic (who likely only plays 28-30 mpg), does West pick Lou over Bev, since Teodosic will need a defender like Bev to play with him...who can knock down 40% 3s from spot up...and is on a high-value contract. West: "No, I'll take the two-years-older, 6'1 shooting guard, no-defense Lou Williams to go with my no-defense Teodosic. Heck, my Lakers were able to get Cory Brewer and the 28th pick for him."

Man, that lineup of Teodosic, Lou and Anderson would strike fear in the opponents offense.

I just ran across this documentary about Chris Paul today. Sorry, if it has been posted. It's very informative. Chris is an easy guy to root for.

I had no clue he could still get up like that.

Always thought he would age well since he is a skill player.

He's really that good...and a true leader. Good enough to lead us to a title, stolen...over that embarrassment of riches in GS. CP3 playing with Beard, and for MDA is a bargain at that price. In addition to what he is on the court, Chris is a magnet for more talent.

    Dude's as advertised+

Chris Paul showed us he's the best PG in the NBA. I would actually say of all time. Lets be honest Magic could not shoot.
