That is why Hinch will be throwing McCullers soon there after. Tonight is big. They aren't going to win 4 in a row, including two against the beard or Verlander in MMP. End it now.

If u pause it when the ball is caught at 2b, Altuve is not even in the shot from this angle, making it look even more crazy than before.

Crazy, thanks for posting. I put it even moreso on Judge than before. I didn't realize Didi was initially lined up properly and that the Yankees clearly had a play in mind. Judge's errant throw killed Didi's momentum and also carried him into the Correa block. For me, it's up to 50% Judge, 50% Sanchez. Didi did what he could.

Yep, absolutely nothing Didi could. It isn't like Judge gave him the ball with enough time to catch ball run, setup perfectly just inside 2nd base away from Correa, and then throw the ball home. I mean Altuve would only be 20 feet from the plate instead of 25 when ball got to Sanchez. No way Sanchez can completely cover the plate and apply the tag in the 2 seconds it would take Altuve to cover 20 feet.

Tonight will be hard but this team can take a gut punch. End it in New York so ESPN will go back to talking about the Cowboys and Kaepernick.

Why the Yankees could and should still win the ALCS

OK, lets look at their reasoning

    1. The Yankees could easily be up 2-0 right now
They are not, so shut up!
    2. Yankee pitching has been outstanding
    Houston's has been MORE outstanding.
    3. The Yankees have a better lineup than Houston
You guys need a med check.
    4. New York wins the battle of the bullpens
Maybe ill concede this point. Maybe.
    5. The next three games are in Yankee Stadium
We play better on the road. Advantage=Even

Who's the first guy out of the pen? McCullers? McHugh?

Probably meaningless but just something to note. Teams that sweep a best of seven LCS have gone 1-7 in the World Series.

MLB Network quoted Hinch as saying Peacock or McCullers would be first out of the pen and the one that doesn't come out of the pen would start game 4.

I would guess Peacock comes in after Morton. Then McCullers starts tomorrow with McHugh coming out of the pen.

nicely done by the poster that called this lineup!
    Maybin with a grand slam.

It sucks we won't see Carlos Beltran at RF. Another glove burial? plenty of time left for a ceremony

I'm feeling this line-up. I look forward to Reddick and Maybin putting down bunts and making CC field his position :)

Time to lower the boom with the bats.

First time they've played a playoff game in the OF that didn't feature a tiny LF.

I like Marwin at 1B better than Gurriel anyways.
