Judge was hella causal and the cutoff wasn't lined up with home. My little leaguers know to line up when setting up a cutoff.

There was no reason to yet. Altuve was just hitting 3rd at the moment the ball was passing him. No one could've assumed Altuve was heading home in time to tell Castro to "cut". (There's also a lot of risk there. He'd have to cut the ball on the move, take a short hop, and then make an off-balance throw with his momentum carrying him into LF because of the throw not coming towards where he was positioned.)

 

We are also the smarter more driven and aggressive team.

 

That might be the second most amazing Astros game ever just barely getting edged out by the Braves/Astros 18 inning game.

Yes, Verlander was amazing.
Yes, Altuve did it again in so many ways. There aren't enough superlatives to say about the guy.
Yes, Correa was amazing and real hero with his batting as well as the throw from the relay to throw down the Yankees baserunner at third.
But we should not neglect Reddick's defensive magnificence in right field today that was amazing.

So good to get the win with the Yankees not throwing out our base runner after we gunned down their baserunners in both of the games thus far.

Also to borrow a phrase from a friend of mine, it was so awesome to see "Bad Neck Tattoo" Chapman get it handed to him.

 

I would love to see the Astros beat up on Kershaw or the Cubs...just 2 more wins, let's go!

 

Just got home from the game.

Player of the Game has to go to Verlander... what a f&&&ing stud. That was awesome.

Altuve should have been out by 5ft but he wasn't and we won!

 

Why Altuve is the most deserving of MVP this year. Even though at a glance Judges number look as worthy of the award. With a little more seasoning, Judge will be a perennial MVP winner though. He might get it this year with eye popping numbers and the New York media machine.

But at the end of the day, it's about world titles. I'm glad Altuve is focusing on that.

 

I thought he was out until I saw safe call by the Umpire, I could not believe my eyes. How could have Altuve avoided the call, till I saw the replay and Sanchez dropped the ball.. phew what a game.

 

That game was freaking amazing. If the bats come alive in the Bronx this could be a sweep

 

That Harden video was pretty much me but I was jumping, screaming, and grooling all over the place

 

Gary Sanchez is still the worst defensive catcher in MLB.

 

Pretty sure that video is at the start of the bottom of the 9th when they brought that banner out asking people to get loud... 99% sure it wasn't after we scored to win.

 

New York Posts says Altuve ignored the stop sign... and I was listening to the radio.... was our windmill broken?
