Was I the only one getting frustrated over Harden bringing the ball up the court slowly?

Discussion in 'Houston Rockets: Game Action & Roster Moves' started by AlaisterCuaresma, Oct 12, 2017.

?

Who thinks Harden will step up his defensive intensity this season?

  1. Hell Yeah! He'll make a All-Defensive team this year!

  2. HAHAHAHA... More like All-Shaqtin-A-Fool team this year!

Harden has always brought the ball up slow.

Nothing about the dude is quick, but hes crafty AF.

I get more frustrated when CP3 has the ball and is probing the floor while Harden just stands far behind the top of the key floating around like he's expecting the ball.

    Exactly.

It’s not like he does this on fast break opportunities.

And where exactly is Lawson these days? The Lawson thing failed because Lawson was garbage. He is currently playing in a scrub league like the CBA. So far in general Harden and Paul have looked solid despite last nights off night and in time they will get even better. .

he's been carrying this team for so long that conserving every iota of energy has been synthetically hardwired into his brain. he's gonna treat chris like len and pass it to him with 2 seconds left on the clock. triple double season confirmed, mvp confirmed.

    There's 2 reasons I don't like it:
    - he risks a violation too many times, just too often it's a close call and there's no need for it when everyone else is down there. I know he's looking up and thinking about what his next move will be but you can walk a little quicker and still do that.
    - he risks a TO as he throws a long pass quite a few times. If he would hurry a little bit more, he could throw it just a little bit sooner making the chance of interference less.

Even CP3 can't push the tempo the way Nash has.... Nash was special in that regard, he pushed every opportunity.

    How's that relative at all?

Point is we got Lawson to move James off ball, when attempted...James still chilled behind the line. Habits don't change. That's the point, not that Ty flamed out. Understand the reason behind the point, not irrelative information. But I agree with Paul and Harden looking fine.

I have more issue with CP3 let the ball roll on the floor and only picking it up when it stopped rolling. Always hated it.
