Unable to defeat the legislation, Trump is now trying to sabotage Obamacare to make it fail without any consideration to the people it might affect.

This is sick. And honestly it is an evil thing to do. By doing this Trump is a traitor to the country and should be impeached. What a sicko. A disgusting person who really now will have the blood of people on his hands.

GOP couldn't do the dirty work, so now Trump has to do it. He said he would do this, and he is doing it. So far...

Taking away healthcare from poor kid - checked
Taking away healthcare from the poor - getting there
Taking all the saving and give it to people like Trump - getting there
Raising premium --- check here check there

All for what ---- to again, fulfill a political promise that was based on fake promises, to make the super rich more rich, and to govern for a small minority instead of the nation as a whole. The end game is still, get rid of Obamacare. Doesn't matter that now more than ever, people want Obamacare to be fixed, not abandon.

I know Trump is getting geared up for 2020... but does he really think he's going to be able to pin the blame squarely on Congress for their lack of healthcare legislation?

My take would normally be No, but in this case, I suspect the answer is Yes.

8 years of replace and replace rhetoric, then when it came time to act...nothing. That's a pretty easy sale. The message would be that people need to elect representative that will act...if they give him a bill, he will sign it. I can certainly see that message going message working.

After failing multiple times to repeal and replace ACA, Trump continues to undermine ACA...

Trump to sign order to eliminate ACA insurance rules, undermine marketplaces

Agreed. It is Congress' fault that they've been promising repeal and replace for years and when the moment of truth came, it turned out they had no plan. But I see the news is telling me that Trump says this EO will make insurance "great." So, Trump should take the credit if Obamacare gets better, and take the blame if it gets worse.

Yes, perfectly fine if you have an (R) but if you have a (D) then they are unconstitutional and authoritarians. But Trump is allowed to bypass Congress so long as it's to MAGA

Association health plans sound great in theory but are detrimental to market stability
