These aren't perfect, but they are FAR better than anything we have. Should be our jerseys every single game, IMO.
Are we even using these anymore? They took them away last year right? That was so dumb, best one we had. So unique from everyone else. Wtf were we thinking? Only thing better than these is just going back to the champ years
Literally all my jerseys are of this colorway or the black, besides my throwback Hakeem and drexler of course. I have no Chinese looking jerseys in my collection. It always seems this is the same amongst the other fans also. You'd think they'd get the hint.
The black looks cool. I don't like how everyone has a black now but with red being our color you can't pass up a black jersey. But gray?! Wtf are we doing ?
That Houston font is perfect! It's very similar to the original one on our current white and red, actually the same maybe but the italic makes it even better. The gold just needs to be reduced to a trim on the side. This is by far the best alternate we've had.
Absolutely. This times a million. It'd be cool to see this in inverse as an alternative also. I also don't care for the grey. In the eventual redesign I'd be cool if they wanted to test out a dark orange flame kind of color. I know the grey is supposed to represent smoke I guess. It just looks dirty and boring. Imo
the new owner has finance issues so its cheaper for him to keep the same slogan as last year to save money
the ketchup and mustard color scheme just looks so much better than this red and grey garbage...I also wish they'd get rid of those stripes on the sides and on the shorts if Tilman can get us some better looking jerseys and do something about the pathetic lower bowl situation to give us a better home atmosphere then I'll be a very happy man
I am fine with these. Just keep the "R" logo. No to that uninspiring, old dated "basketball logo" that in my opinion only resonates because of nostalgia and not a logo/mark for moving forward.
I think the old logo looked super sexy on the uniforms though. Shorts with the logo and the red band are sooooooo sick. These are my two favorite uniforms of all time. Magic stripes & Houston CLEAN.
