Is there anyone else on the disgruntled list that has yet to be traded? Morey is never one to just sit around and judging from his previous interviews, he is looking to win now with CP3 and Harden. So who are we really after and who could we possibly obtain to win it all?
In order to win it all? Lebron. Who seems to be the most likely? Boogie if the Pelicans are having a bad season and don't think he'll re-sign...
Carmelo is a "star" according to Ashley... Eric Gordon & Trevor Ariza >>>>>>>>>> Carmelo according to Clutchfans.
Highly unlikely. We have to get really lucky to get a great player and send Anderson the other way. We might be able to do something where we throw in other rotation players (Gordon, Tucker, Moute, etc.) if what we're getting is worth it. It's not the only way to win though. There are teams out there who will decide to tank and maybe some of those vets become available. Maybe someone gets bought out. There are always great opportunities like that around the trade deadline. In the meantime, we have enough to win 60. We're not far from beating the Warriors in a playoff series imo.
We already have the 3rd star...thats is EGO. The more stars you have the lesser the usage rating so a guy like Gordon can pretty much be cosidered a 3rd star. What you mean is 4rth star. That is impossible because Ryan Anderson is untradable even if a star wants to sign we can't shed enough salary to sign him.
The Pelicans are really, really going to suck this year. Demarcus Cousins has literally all the leverage. Clint Capela would be a nice young C for them to pair with Anthony Davis going forward.
Yea i think so too. Pels have no depth at all - well they dont even have starters on NBA level outside of Davis,Cousins,Holiday. Everyone else is really bad.
If Eric Gordon shoots anywhere near the way he has in the preseason this year I would consider the finding a third star problem solved.
I would rather get extra depth. Veteran center like Tyson Chandler and a veteran 4th guard that is not named Bobby 'legend' Brown. If you look back it is injuries before and during the playoffs that decided which team will go far. Even a small loss like Nene just killed us last year. We need players that can step up when its bad, not a star that will deplete our depth.
