Verlander would be on normal (4 days) rest if its a rainout tomorrow. But, they tend to try and get these games in any way possible. They have all day/night to do it. Also, storm patterns much different in the NE.... if there's a slight window to play, they'll exploit it.
You can also look at as either face Sale on 3 days rest or have a rain out and get Verlander and Keuchel on full rest.
we got the hits. they just weren't so timely. Hopefully that 'rob' of Marisnick's 3 run dinger and just having to have the lefty on lefty matchup doesn't unravel any more misfortunes. on the brightside, pineapple and altugod were unbeatabol.
A lot of luck went their way. Won't happen again tomorrow. Their bullpen is shot now and Porcello is a joke. Get 'em tomorrow boys
"The Catch" by Mookie Betts really rubs me the wrong way. That catch wasn't difficult at all. It's a long wait until Game 4.
What was the jinx? Were they not supposed to lose a game this post season? Im confident as hell theyre going to win this series.
No doubt we're winning this series. Seeing Springer and Reddick joking around in CF in the 8th made me feel a whole lot better. These guys aren't rattled.
Someone asked Seth Payne how long it would take him to get over a loss and he basically said by the time he showed up to the weight room Monday morning he was over it. No matter how tough the loss. He said its their job and most professional athletes can move on to the next game fairly easy. I think fans tend to overanalyze the psyche of athletes.
