    The strength of the Astros rotation is its length. Any 4 of our guys after Verlander/Keuchel are better than Boston’s number 3 starter. If it gets pushed back it neutralizes that particular advantage and puts it back on a Sale/Verlander showdown. Still good for the Astros but less solidly in our favor.

    tip your cap, try and score some runs, and move on. it's playoff baseball. anything happens, y'all know this. sox are a good team.

    tomorrow looks like a rain delay so possible G4 on tuesday and lose a practice day for G5 on Thursday.

    We learned today that beltran gets no ABs and Liriano can only pitch when we're up several runs.
