    That was such a baseball robot decision though. It was Liriano vs a lefty that hits lefties.

    It’s all good our offense is good enough to spot them a run.

    I'm pretty sure one of the announcers just described the Red Sox as 'We'. Doesn't get much more biased than that.

    Didn't say he wasn't. Someone asked what Liriano had done, as if he's been garbage since the trade (which has been the prevailing sentiment). Thought it was worth pointing out that he looked better of late.

    Doesn't mean it's the move I would've made there.

    At some point you stop worrying about splits and pitch guys you can trust in the playoffs. I can’t imagine Liriano being on that list.

    I don't understand how you can put a guy on the mound who has sucked this year and most of his career. So many options. And the topper is we had a guy ou there who had only given up one run. Just stupid is as stupid does on that one.
