Now that Melo is on the Thunder it looks like it's CP3 and Harden. I believe he will avg an efficient 30 ppg for the first time in his career with another primary ball handlerolling to help take pressure off him.
not sure what the point of including those videos was Shameless plug to get views on your YouTube channel? also, Harden will never win an MVP as long as it is a media voted award
I'm a 110 % sure, the media will build a story behind .KL b4 they ever consider Harden MVP.. no matter how great a season he have' even if it was record breaking..
Leonard will win the MVP if the Spurs get a top 3 seed. Either him or Durant. Hell, LeBron may win another one if IT misses most of the year and they still have a top seed.
Honestly I think this will be Lebrons year again... perhaps his last MVP but without Kyrie I bet he has a chip on his shoulder and has an outstanding year.
If it is a jinx, might work. I would prefer Ryan Anderson getting back to 15-16 ppg and Gordon goes 18 ppg. Chris Paul with 18-20 ppg. Capela, Ariza.....get the bulk of the rest.
Nope. If a guy like that: won MVP over harden, harden will never win it. It will be Kawhi because he has no "help" (other than one of the greatest coaches ever) and they love him for being the best 2-way-player . I've given up on Harden winning MVP after last year tbh. I think he can go for 33/12/9 and still won't win it.
Harden should have been awarded the MVP last year; but OKC sacrificed wins for Westbrook stats. Now Harden will reduce Usage to allow CP3 to get a feel for the game; allowing more prongs to attack (more wins) This will decrease Hardens numbers slightly. Westbrook will have to decrease his Usage from his 42% (Harden was 34%) to accommodated Paul George/Melo MVP will go to a Warrior (due to prob best record in West) or LeBron
I think it will go to Kawhi simply because everybody loves him and the Spurs have an old roster, yet will prob still make the 3rd sead (i hope behind us tho)
I love the idea, but I'd much rather have the Rockets do damage in the WCF and make the finals. We're due. James still has plenty of time to get an MVP award. Winning a championship is on a completely different time frame though.
What Harden need is a compelling narritive. And then have his stats support it. Can Harden be scoring champ with high efficiency? I'm not too worried about usage. Curry didn't have insane usage when he won but he was very efficient.
I think something like a 22-game winning streak, would definitely put him neat the top. Harden has to achieve more than others just to have his name in the conversation.
