99.9% of people are tearing him down.

This is not a normal scenario.

 

Overall it just seems a bad episode to me...i don't care if Harden exagerrated in calling McHale a clown, in fact i kinda agree with that, aside that this isn't the first time he calls out Harden cause he's clearly bitter, but McHale has always been a bottom tier clueless coach, he wasn't able to coach ****, incapable of making any sort of adjustaments in game, always blaming players...and tbh, i think anybody knows this, even those who didn't watch the Rockets...and that's also why being considered a great guy around the league is not enough to be signed by other teams even if "he" brought the Rockets to the conference finals. But at the same time, the way Harden handled this i don't know, i don't think it's the best tbh, should've just laughed at it and move on, this will certainly give him a toon of unnecessary bad press...and yeah, "who cares", but still...he could've handled this better imo.

 

Two players BETTER than Harden would not have taken the Rockets farther?

The decision to hire and fire coaches was made by one person, Les Alexander. The decision to hire McHale wasn't made by Morey or the players. It was made by Alexander. The decision to fire McHale was made at midnight after a lackluster performance that embarrassed Alexander. He called Morey and said to fire McHale before the next game.

There are things to criticize Harden for over the years. However he didn't fire McHale and no one told Alexander what to do when it came to his head coaches.
