I think his zone is out of whack. But I've seen that from a lot of umps. I've seen a lot of umps more "in the zone" but wayyyy less consistent. I appreciate consistency over accuracy if I have to choose. I think it's silly that people are complaining about the lack of accuracy (because it's evident with the box) when there is a fair amount of consistency, which you can't really see without a cluster chart of strikes and balls. Also feels like people are trying to say that we're facing more bad calls than them, which is untrue...again, because it's been consistent.
