Yo I'm super chillin posted up right now so if u like guitars than post any song that you are digging right now with a cool guitar solo/interlude in it. (doesn't necessarily have to be a "solo" as long as periods of the song emphasize cool guitar)

I'm going to listen to every single one so my only hope is that few people

    1) post ridiculously famous stuff that we all love but you know everyone's heard thousands of times like jimi hendrix or led zeppelin

    2) Post stuff dat suck. I'm going to subject my ears to each full song.

I was listening to a bunch of 80s videos in @Tha_Dude 's thread so I thought this would be beneficial

Couple that come to mind right away. I don't really care for wanky guitar onanism, so none of that for me.

Pale Blue Eyes is fun to play because it has tons of technical stuff like bends, slides and hammer-ons but the tempo is extremely slow. Great for practice for learning guitar.

First thing I thought of. Very simple repeating motif.

Similar to above, but with a 60's fuzz pedal turned up all the way.

    If you like that....

First time I saw him was at an ACL Fest in the early '00s. He was wearing a Cub jersey and announced his love for the City of Chicago. He wailed, so I forgave him.

eta: Joe Walsh needs love, because I love Joe Walsh

Even though this song is really short, it's really hard to get through.

Crazy little thing called loved. Love Brian May's sound in that song. So clean.

Nobody pays much attention to Lar(ry) LaLonde because the bass and drums are so incredible, but that guy shreds in the background. Every song.

Aw, you suck Buck. I was going to post this. R.I.P. to the incomparable Mikey Scaccia.

Since this is a good Texas board w/ good Texas boys it would be a damn shame to not include Pantera.

That's the worst thing I remember hearing. It's unlistenable.

If we're posting things not bad, then:

Can I post a whole album? Built to Spill. Keep It Like a Secret. Just crazy, catchy guitar riffs and hooks fill about every second of this thing . One of the best "guitar albums" ever.

Some cliff notes if you don't have the time:
    1. First Minute
    2. 10:14-end of song
    3. 13:00 through 14:20
    4. 19:20 through 21:20
    5. 31:55 through 32:40
