For people that dont know. The criminals that were studied all had similar job histories, making it likely that their income levels were close to one another. Of course that doesn't stop some people from being in denial and still rambling about wealth levels.

Just know that wealth doesn't explain this study like, at all.

LOL, I do love that you still don't understand how job history doesn't guarantee similar levels of wealth or similar access to wealth....but well, it's you so I know not to expect more.

It's not exact but certainly much more likely than someone insisting that it must only be wealth level.

If you want to see how much wealth may be a factor, look at only cases involving public defender. It's not that hard to do. Might even already be in that massive data they already have. Would be interesting to see that data.

I think at best, there are much unconscious bias against black in society. Talk to some mixed race couples who have son and daughter that look more black... The sadness from the wife or husband who is white tell you alot. They do have to overcome more due to society. Which is devastating. Read some study on the impact of being view as less or with more suspicion and you see how damaging it is.

We might not be able to do anything about society, but we should aim to have as fair of a Justice system as possible. That will benefit everyone. While everyone is ultimately fully responsible for their own lives and actions, a fair system benefits all and i think when people feel they belong and are being fairly treated, they will do better. And when they do better, society will benefit from it..

I don't think you'd like to see that data, it would go against what you want to believe. You seem really invested in the idea of the racism boogie man.

Guys, bobby is not able to debate this. He has denied accepted studies about minority employment, he's denying this one about the justice system. He will never accept anything that would have to make him back down from his ideas that minorities have legitimate gripes. When presented with relevant facts, multiple studies, and evidence, he will always ignore or rationalize it away in his own mind. There is no point in discussing the topic with him until he is willing to have an actual discussion.

Keep the boogie man alive so that legitimately productive conversation never happens.

That's all it is, is a boogie man, and you've experienced so much as a minority that you know better than actual minorities, multiple respected studies, and more anecdotal evidence imaginable.

I truly feel bad for people pathetic enough to blame their own poor choices on some kind of racism boogie man.....but of course feeling bad for people like that doesn't really help anyone. I mean, I know personal accountability isn't as fun as blaming a boogie man, but honestly it's the only thing that will lead to better outcomes in the long run.

Clearly you can't be interested in things ever getting better for those pathetic bastards (overwhelmingly literally), but that doesn't mean that I don't want what is best for them.

Again with the false BS idea that people can't be working hard doing everything possible to better their own situation but still have disadvantages imposed on them because of racist tendencies and systems in the nation.

Sorry, you've already stated that you are unwilling to accept scholarly studies and will turn a blind eye to actual evidence on this subject. I hope one day you will take a rational approach. Best of luck.
