@Fulgore do you cheerlead ftw everywhere and like all his garbage posts? He’s got to be chaffing from you riding him so hard
Some of them are arguable. Most of them are not. He is not bottom half of the league. This not about wanting to upgrade. Any Texans fan wants to upgrade. If you can get me a better GM tomorrow, sign me up. But a lot of fans are delusional in thinking any other GM in the league is an upgrade to Rick Smith. He is better than half of the other GMs.
Maybe I'm saying this as a hedge against failure. But its only been 2 full games and 1 good game. The upside is good, the work ethic there with Watson. His playing STYLE is exciting, thats all a given. Though for me it takes a little more body of work before proclaiming true arrival. Even if he does have some struggles going forward, he'll still be no different than other QB's who've gone through growing pains then improve later. So he's "the man" going forward until he's maybe not. He's in top 7 of all young qb prospects though, about all you can ask for.
The quick release is really nice. His accuracy has been really good and the OL is actually blocking for him this game
Can the ignoramuses now drop the drivel about Watson's arm strength? It is NOT a concern and never has been.
But, but...he magically changed his footwork between weeks 2 and 3 and that increased his arm strength.
Don't feel bad old friend. I've said something dumber and just can't find it. It was something along the lines of the Texans in no way shape or form will draft this phenom. ;-)
I honesty will never be able to fully trust Bill O'Brien as a head coach regardless of what he does in his career. He chose Tom Savage over Watson. Unfathomable.
