It's times like this that I am glad we have leaders like Turner, Abbot, and Trump.

When that someone sees everything through the prism of race it can always be expected. We have a few around here like that.

Trump's malignant narcissism can actually be diagnosed from his tweets alone. It's always about him. And when he feels attacked or disrespected or whatever, he is so vindictive. Disgusting human being.

    That's all it took? SMH.

The mayor sounds frustrated, but that's not smart when dealing with very thin skinned folks. I'm sure she's under enormous pressure, but you have to put on baby gloves dealing with this admin when you need their help. That's just the sad reality.

I wonder when was the last time POTUS play politics with people suffering from a major natural disaster. Is this another first?

There's not a credible source for that accusation. We already know the white house press secretary lies through their teeth and are not a trusted source, just like the president lies and nothing he says can be trusted at all.

What we do know is that the President has yet to visit Puerto Rico but does have time to take another golf vacation.

So far Trump has spent 1/4 of his presidency golfing - he is officially the laziest American - works less days than the guy at the DMV. He has taken more golf days in 8 months than Obama took in 8 years.

Man should be impeached for abandoning his office during crisis after crisis. That's a high crime.

You seriously think that's a robust response? 3.5 Million people in danger and one assault group? You right-wingers need to try harder.

It was flawless as reported by the Russian Times from the comfort of his stool where he licks Putin shoes.

Don't go there, there's a lot of guys doing everything they can. Outside of orders even. Literally everything.

Go where? No one is criticizing the people on the ground. Well Trump is by calling Puerto Ricans lazy. But even Republicans have been critical of Trump's slowness in sending military assets to PR. Heck, the U.S. had a far more robust military response to Haiti. How do you explain that? What's the excuse for U.S. doing more for Haiti than PR?

but you're quick to call the response shameful in the original post. The alt left is showing their hypocrisy.

Is there a good article on this or do you have number to explain the differences? I don't recall an immediate response to Haiti but then that is all foggy to me now. Going through a few more localized and smaller natural disasters myself, I know that the fed government and fema is always initially slow... They have now started stagging ahead of time close by (meaning in a different state even) to close the gap. I imagine when both Florida and the island are involved in major hurricane close together, plus it's an island, thing will relatively be slower. But is it way out of the norm? I want data to said so before making that statement. This is different then, is more needed? - that's already clear that more is needed from the General commanding the US response.
