Beverley believed the system here in Houston held him back.

he needs to realize he's in the league primarily because of his defense not offense

No, the reason Ryan performed so poorly missing WIDE open 3s is because he's a mentally weak soft lil *****.

So what is he all those times he is shooting 40-60% from 3pt line, Superman? He has performed both amazingly well and incredibly poor, just like any and every other shooter in this league. Can't have it both ways.

Heh. the Rockets love the stepacks ... just from James Harden. Kudos to beverly on working so hard to get where he is and to be valued around the league. And great for him to be having more freedom ... but I never believed he was that great offensively in playmaking or creating his own shot. His 3pt shot has definitely improved over the years and his floater was surprisingly effetctive at times (at least not as inconsistent as Rafer Alston's was), but other than that ... can't see it happening. Who knows though, maybe Sam Cassell will work a miracle.

Also wonder if Beverly will show us love when he plays us or aggravate us as he did to every other team we played against while he was here ... Being that he is that type of "love him on our team, hate him when he's not" type of player.

Except Pat actually made his floaters, unlike Rafer.

If Patrick Beverley is so great then why couldn't he save us during game 6 when Harden supposedly gave up... hell Bev only had 7 points. We got to the western conf finals in 2015 without him. Yeah he doing all that talking but all you will get with him is good and aggressive effort within a lower talent grade. He ain't carrying nobody.

Ryan Anderson will get a chance to redeem himself. He knows he can shoot the three well so it's possible he can grow some balls and snap out of it lol.

Beverley will have the same role with the Clippers as he did with Houston.

Bring the ball past mid-court and give it to Blake Griffin.

Blake will try to post up and then settle for a fade away 10 footer.

Beverley will remain a PG off the ball set up as a catch and shoot perimeter player.

    Know your role!!

I challenge that...racer carried Houston on some nights especially the year of the 22 game win streak. Pat never carries us like rafer did a couple of one.

Pat only carried us one game and that was hat game against Phoenix this year when he looked like a real pg for the first time ever

He will be the next Trevor Ariza the first time he came here. Watch what happens when he does too much with the ball.

Sheeeeeit! The reason Parsons got a better-than-he-deserved contract was because of how he looked in our system.

If PB were to magically, instantly become a great playmaker, I could see his point but I doubt that will happen in this area we call reality.

Being mentally weak doesn't mean you can't shoot well, it means when you start missing you stop shooting and act scared. Some people when they have an off night can try harder on other aspects and shoot themselves back into a good game, he just stops shooting and does nothing on the court.
