how do they calculate that? 31% is a number the likes the world has never seen before, a bigly number if you will.
Is the number taken from individual ticket sales online? Because in a city like Houston most have been purchased before protests even began.

That clown conservative tweeter Matt Batzel linked an article with stats from 'TickPick' and 'TicketCity', two sites I've never once heard of.

According to a Time article, SeatGeek says there has been no difference.

I don't see the significance. All these players know from their own life experiences that large segments of society are bigots. It follows that when black players use their platform during games to shine a light on the bigotry that bigots would stop buying tickets and watching. It's expected. It would be incredibly bizarre if it didn't happen.

Here is why you are wrong. Those asshat bigots are also hypocrites.

True. So possibly more than 31% are bigots but are so indoctrinated to US football culture that they can't do without. That would be great to see in polling. How many people think NFL player protests are disrespectful and without merit but continue to pay up to watch them play. Truly conflicted people.

Funny I don't see you posting about Trump's inability to repeal Obamacare.

In typical Trump fantasyland I guarantee you Trump and his fans will create a narrative in the coming weeks when most players start standing that Trump "shaped up" these spoiled "athletes" (code for black people).

In Trumpland "winning" means waiting till enough things happen to open up some way to create a self congratulating narrative. It's BS of course but it's a formula for narcasists to always be right. Just wait and eventually you'll get a narrative that makes you a "winner" in your own mind.

If you stay on the basketball court long enough eventually you'll be the best player on the court..... when everyone else goes home.

Whatever makes you idiots feel like "winners!!"

Also... give me a break. The US is obsessed with football. If you are dumb enough to think even the president can financially hurt the NFL for political reasons you are an idiot that deserves Trump. Rednecks giving up on football is like Hugh Heffner giving up sex.

    RIP Hugh

Not sure if this goes here or the angry white Trumpanzee thread, so I'll put it in both.

Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert says he got racist voicemails after LeBron's Trump tweet
Gilbert trying to get LeBron to stay lol.

I saw this guest tonight on Tucker Carlson. He made some very interesting points concerning the BLM narrative. It's very rare when Carlson doesn't weigh in at all with his guests. I thought it warranted a spot in this thread.

From what I've seen of the clips that fly around the internet, it seems like Tucker Carlson generally brings stupid people on his show specifically to say outlandish things so he can slap them around. The goal being to show just what the extremists in this country are saying so that when you rail against them, it's not a straw man.....though it's not really fair to give a platform to fringe left people and imply that is the position all liberals hold which is why I imagine his show isn't too popular among our friends on the left.....especially our friends on the left here who trend towards the extreme end of the spectrum.

In this instance, he brought on someone who he not only agreed with, but who stuck to citing numbers more so than stating opinion. In that situation, there's really not much to say.

"Our interests are in the policies at the federal level, and not the politics surrounding the elections," the statement read in part. "We have often supported both political parties in the same election so that we have the ability to impact positive change, regardless of who occupies the offices."

this is so common - supporting both sides by big busn... because, money often do speaks.
