Yankees commentators mentioned Altuve/Judge MVP race during the game right now. No surprise, Judge should get the nod in their minds, but they think you can't go wrong with either one.
I have always found that with a bias mind, the small concede at the end is the indicator of what the subconsciousness really feels.
I can't fathom giving an MVP to a guy who broke the record for the most strikeouts in consecutive games. Nope, doesn't do it for me.
Seems like a weird criteria. Anyone who puts up the offensive numbers that Judge has over the course of the season, can strike out in every game for all I care.
Big game tonight for Charlie Morton. Hope he keeps his good pitching going. This team is hot right now! I love it. Bring ON OCTOBER!
Astros looking to join the 1969 Mets as only teams MLB history to lose 110+ games and win 100+ within 5 seasons.
Please refer to this post about 2.5 hours from now if our offense doesn't do it this game and Morton gives up 2 runs and we lose 2-0 or something. You will see that I am predicting the following comments (paraphrasing): "The Astros are NOT ready for the post-season" "Morton sucks" "The Astros offense is so wildly inconsistent.... how could you score __ runs and then follow it with ___?" "We're the only team that made Fister look like an All-Star"
Fister has looked like an all star since he joined the Red Sox but we all know under that Soxs uniform he's true garbage
Why is Fister making Correa look like Chris Carter. I hope Fister runs right through us so he can start in the divisional round. His stuff is weak.
