Combine with the talk from Paul George that basically sounds like he is staying with OKC, this is a bad scenario for us as Rockets fans. Just have to hope they implode.
Have you read the Paul George stuff the last few weeks? He's all but said he is staying. I think we are going to be yet again, oh so close. We'll never quite get that super team.

Do you really trust what Paul George or ANY player says about resigning or not during training camp before the season starts? Nothing is final until he signs on that dotted line. Who knows what 2018 free agency brings.
Westbrook staying ends some drama. But the Paul George drama will always be there. If LeBron bolts to LA, George could easily consider that regardless of how things go in OKC, because with LeBron in LA, that team will be just as good....PLUS all the LA advantages for George. Melo is probably most pleased about Westbrook re-upping because then Melo can OPT-IN with confidence if need be.
whats in LA that makes them good? a bunch of extremely young guys with potential isn't nearly enough.
Smart move. Aside from from Harden, Presti has done well with that franchise. Even if George skips town, they will find a way to bounce back.
Did anybody think he would? He's going to make 28 mil in the final year of his deal. He'd be a fool to opt out of that, especially when not many teams are going to have cap space next summer.
