    If melo opts out next year and we arent the defending NBA champions at the time would you still want to sign him?

    Personally, Im leaning towards no. Im done with the melo obsession and I am over all things Melo at this point. Us as fans have all spent way too much time writing about melo here

    The reality is we need to aim higher and create a truly legendary big 3. We need to chase the other person that is friends with chris...................

    Well at least we'll get a preview of how he'll mesh with two ball dominant stars and we can decide whether or not to go after him based on what he does in OKC. If he can play with Russ and PG he can play with anybody.

    Barring some kind of injury and Melo becomes available and proves he still has a good amount left in the tank, I expect the rockets to go after him still.

    I didn't click yes because he isn't better than lebron :)

    I don't think he's opting out to become a free agent next summer...I would take him if he got bought out

    main reason I wanted Melo is because he was available for practically nothing and he's better than Ryno

    I'm sure Melo's plan is to sign elsewhere if OKC isnt the defending champs after this year. There is a reason Westbrook hasn't signed that extension and that's bc he hasn't gotten word from Melo or George that they will stay after this season. Everyone knows PG wants to be in LA and Melo wants to be in a big city HOU fits Melo's style and preference to a T not to mention CP will probably and more than likely finish his career in HOU. I'd still go for Melo but only on a 4 yr $60 and nothing more.

    It is really hard to say where the Rockets will be next off season other than trying to build on a Harden/Paul core.

    If Anthony is available I am sure the Rockets will investigate. We'll get to see first hand how Melo does as a full time PF in OKC and as a 3rd option.
