None of you guys are accounting for Harden, CP3, and Gordon being on the floor at the same time.

I think that's going to be a part of every game for like 5-10 min a night or when we need the offensive firepower.

    CP3
    Gordon
    Harden
    Ariza or Tucker or Moute
    Capella or Nene

    Let em run.

hopefully we have enough big man depth to not play ryno at the 5 ever.

I feel like that was one of his problems v spurs.

One thing I think a lot of people are making an error with. Traditional positions and rotations don't exist in the current NBA.

I agree with BigRed, I expect to see some three guard line ups towards the end of games to try and put teams away.

the only thing that is really set for houston specifically is the C positions which will be manned by Capela, Nene, and Tarik. All the other positions are interchangeable bw alot of our players

Ideally, I would like to see minutes distributed in the following manner:
    PG: Paul 30, Harden 15, Taylor 3
    SG: Harden 15, Gordon 25, Moute 8
    SF: Ariza 30, Tucker 10, Moute 8
    PF: Anderson 25, Tucker 15, Zhou 8
    C: Capela 30, Nene 9, Black 9

I expect the starting lineup to be:
    PG: Paul
    SG: Harden
    SF: Ariza
    PF: Anderson
    C: Capela

Our secondary lineup should look like:
    PG: Paul/Taylor
    SG: Gordon
    SF: Moute
    PF: Tucker
    C: Nene/Black

Our Lineup of Death would be:
    PG: CP3
    SG: Gordon
    SF: Harden
    PF: Ariza
    C: Tucker/Anderson

Our closing lineup would probably be:
    PG: Paul
    SG: Harden
    SF: Ariza
    PF: Tucker
    C: Capela

It is going to depend a lot on matchups, but I can see Harden playing a lot of minutes at the 4 this year.

I would love to see Harden play 30-32 mpg but it's not going to happen. The best we can hope for is probably 34 or 34.5. He could really use the rest (as could Ariza) but I don't think Mike D will let him. As others have said, it would be great if we opened up our team a la the Spurs and played 9 guys regularly (or 10 on some nights). That rest would help with the wear and tear of the season.

Why wouldn't MDA let him? We actually have another PG now, one of the best in history in fact.

I'm guessing a little more like this:

PG: Paul 32 min Harden 16 min

SG: Harden 16 min Gordon 32 min

SF: Ariza 32 min PJ Tucker 16 min

PF: Anderson 30 min Luc MM 18 min

C: Capela 24 min Nene 16 min* Black 8 min*

(*C rotation changes on back-to-backs or heavy weeks)

As long as one of Harden/CP3 on the floor at all times and one of Ariza/Tucker on the floor at all times, we win

GSW death lineup counter: Paul/Harden/Ariza/Tucker/Mbah a Moute

    Or Paul/Gordon/Harden/Ariza/PJ or Luc

Because Harden has played 36 or more minutes for the last 5 seasons, and 38 minutes for 3 of those. He should go 32 minutes but it just won't happen, whether it's him or MDA that makes him play more.

I do agree with the poster that Moute will be good. He's a great defender, I hope he gets a chance to play. I really like Tucker (I am a Longhorn) but I think his defense isn't as good as Moute's. Neither is a good 3 point shooter but maybe that will improve with Paul and Harden.

I don't think Paul and Harden only play together for 16 mins.
