Why would you save him for later? Every game technically matters... if anything, with Boston still being the likely first round opponent, doesn't give the Red Sox too much exposure to him.

Yeah I hear you. I'd just rather he wasn't off with 7 or 8 days rest. The Astros are in a unique position to not only win home field throughout, but to push the Yankees into an East division tie. Best scenario is if Yanks-Bos has to play a division tiebreaker, then loser plays WC, then WC plays Astros. We could potentially face a #3 starter in game 1.
