Houston will win by 15, but the highlight on sportscenter is going to be Maybin running into the wall and the Rangers getting that in the park homerun.

Oh, wait... sportscenter doesn't hate Houston, just the Rockets.

Yes, but it makes the tag take longer (have to reach further) and harder to make. In force situations, I agree with you though.

Indians lose. Astros now 1 game back. Might want to save Verlander for Boston this weekend.

Why would you save him for later?

Every game technically matters... if anything, with Boston still being the likely first round opponent, doesn't give the Red Sox too much exposure to him.

woohoo lets go Twins. I'd love to be able to get that #1 seed back.

Double-edged... getting the #1 seed would likely mean that the Twins just got pretty damn hot against a very good team.

Yeah I hear you. I'd just rather he wasn't off with 7 or 8 days rest. The Astros are in a unique position to not only win home field throughout, but to push the Yankees into an East division tie. Best scenario is if Yanks-Bos has to play a division tiebreaker, then loser plays WC, then WC plays Astros. We could potentially face a #3 starter in game 1.

Excellent the BOS series doesn't matter. And still a chance for #1 with CLE losing.

    Things are somewhat setting up.

We might see the 1930's Yankees graphic Road runs/game again soon.

Uh... Verlander is an established pitcher who's played in the same league as Boston for many years. I can't tell you what the right answer is here for sure, but I feel like Justin is exposed already. Also, the Astros are going to be playing the winner of the Yankees/Twins series. ;)
