Gomez made it really freaking hard to like him when he was wearing an Astros jersey.

Now that he's wearing an Arlington jersey, it's really easy to hate him.

Gomez making all this fuss and he didn't even get hit. I've never seen anyone approach the mound (bat in hand) after fouling off a ball that was AWAY. The pitch before that wasn't even that far inside, he was just looking for a reason to cause trouble because he got hit a month ago. Compare that to what Altuve (MVP, with a World Series run at stake) did after actually getting hit in the wrist late in the game. He let it go. That's the difference between having class and not having class.

Yes. That gif of McHugh posted earlier was his reaction to Gomez letting an easy fly ball go over his head in CF when he was a Stro. When McH was on the DL earlier this year, he and Gomez started screaming at each other from the dugouts after a Ranger (Gallo?) got hit.

"I don't want to spend any more mental effort thinking about Carlos Gomez." -- McHugh, after the game last night

Astros should have another champagne celebration in Rangers stadium visiting locker room after we knock them out of the wild card race.

Even if Altuve wasn't intentionally plunked, it's bush league to run 3-4 pitches hard inside to the MVP of the league, in an 11-2 rout, 6 games before the playoffs start. **** everything about that **** organization in Arlington. Oh, and I hope Keuchel's first pitch to Gomez is inside heat. **** that clown. I'm willing to bet that ****-stain Jeff Bannister encouraged his guys to try and rattle us.

Francis Martes would earn his roster spot for next season if he puts one in Gomez's jaw.

If the Twins can do the unthinkable and beat the Indians, the Rangers could be dead by the 7th inning stretch.

Not sure why the umpire didn't immediately eject Gomez. Walking towards the mound for absolutely no reason with bat in hand, instigated a bench clearing situation.

The one that starts again Opening Day next year (why OD is something only MLB can explain).

I just hope nothing gets chippy and nobody gets thrown at the next 2 games.

In Carlos Gomez' skull, there's an emptied out cavern where brain-cheese used to be until it got eaten away by a rat. The rat withered away and decayed. Now the only thing left in that echoing, reverberating void is a tiny little micropenis right in the center of his cranium.

With his control, it would end up middle-middle.

Usual Ranger MO is they'll wait until the 9th inning tomorrow afternoon (with them leading) and tag whomever with no chance at retaliation.

They are the ****ing scum of the earth.

    Agreed.

Its pretty remarkable that these games can be this heated when one team is literally 20 games back and is basically eliminated.

I'd say that's as good of a mark as any.... imagine the contention if both teams ever are neck-and-neck in a division race?
