Defense wins championships. We had the 2nd best offense in the NBA and we added Chris Paul. We need defense. Simple as that. Michael Beasley brings us literally nothing. He WOULD NOT break the rotation, which is why he was trade for Tyler Penis.
We need defense......and didn't we add Tucker and Luc Mbah a Moute? If nothing else, I'm glad the powers that be realized we were a one trick pony last season. They probably wised up when Popovitch de-pantsed the Rockets in the playoffs; he had the mortar positions dialed in.
Give me a break. What did Tyler Ennis bring to the table last year? Beasley at least was a damn good scorer and there's no doubt in my mind that he was better than Dekker. It was a totally unnecessary and stupid trade.
OHHHHH Come on Ashley! We had a record setting Offense last year! We added a LEGEND on both ends. We added two well respected, top perimeter defenders that can switch and guard 3-4 positions. Clint is a year older. Carmelo is a known cancer that has had MAJOR issues with Mike D'Antoni. Michael Beasley can't stick to one team. Nick Young is a knucklehead wife cheater. Rudy Gay makes every single team he goes to WORSE! Come on ASHLEY!

Ya I think he means Ariza/Gordon/Ryno/Tucker are all strictly only good at catch and shoot situations. Driving in and passing to the ark is pretty predictable and probably gonna be 70% of the offense
With Chris Paul and James Harden, I wouldn't want anyone else to shoot anything but catch and shoot threes, but that's just me! Layups and threes is ideally 95% of our offense, or more. I can guarantee you that our offense is going to be essentially perfect this year. We will finish at number 1 or 2. We just need more tough stops, more tough rebounds, more brawn, more veterans, more knife-fighters as JVG puts it.

Ahh Intangibles. You'd think anyone that is a Rocket fan would be able to pick up on the traits that really matter when building a team. All of our best teams had crazy talent, but they also had aspects that did not show up on paper. We have made VAST improvements this off-season in snagging those types of players that fill in the cracks with game changing defense, toughness and intellect. Just mentioning Nick Young, Rudy Gay and Michael Beasley as guys we need to "go after" shows what you are dealing with. Not one intangible between them. This isn't the Drew League.
