Not a whole lot to go on from this outing. Didn't look bad, but didn't look all that sharp either. Given he's made so few starts that's to be expected. How his arm responds, and how he looks in his next outing should be more telling.
I imagine status quo of whatever they were thinking yesterday. If they were planning to start Peacock and Morton, LMJ didn't do anything to convince them otherwise. If they were planning to start him, I'm not sure he did anything to dissuade them.
Yep. This will be fascinating to see what we do with that 3 slot. Peacock, Morton, and McHugh have all been pretty good.
Some of you are dense. We aren't really playing for the regular season anymore. We are going to leave some shaky relievers in there to eat innings to give our best relievers rest for what really matters - you know, the postseason.
