http://www.tigernet.com/update/Twitter-reacts-to-Deshaun-Watsons-performance-vs-Patriots-27955 Thank me later guys.
Brock Osweiler never had a 300+ yard passing game as a Texan but certain posters were confident that he was an "NFL caliber passer"
I have been a fan of DW for a while now. What happened today is DW finding his groove in the new league. He will get better.
Hoping that like his games vs. Bama, he loses a close one first time around then wins the 2nd time. Just in case we meet the Pats again this season (fingers crossed)
I am absolutely thrilled with his performance, 300+ yards and really only 1 interception (while technically 2 but no one should count hail Mary interceptions against players) I didn't think he was capable of it because he hadn't shown any indication that he was capable of it up until today and I'm really happy that he finally had his breakthrough performance. I really hope he keeps it up, if he can it'll inject some hope into this season. I was busy during the game, didn't watch it till just now, so yeah, I was quiet when i wasn't here. Shocker.
I said earlier that I would be thrilled if Watson could throw for 200 yards and only 1 interception or something like that....and so apparently some think it's an "L" for me when Watson has his first good game since he's been in the NFL....we have some weird ones around here.
I mean, it's @Bobbythegreat . A lot. To be fair, I don't think that Bobby was saying that Watson was going to be bad, he just didn't think he was ready.
It was exactly that, I said he wasn't ready because he hadn't shown any signs of being ready even in preseason. That said, he looked pretty damn good today for a rookie and if he keeps it up, the Texans will be very happy about it.
Very upsetting to lose a game we should have won, but to see this kind of return already in our very expensive investment in DW4 is a wonderful feeling
