I can handle Brady carving us up but the challenge, 3rd and 1 call, and letting 10 seconds run off the clock on the last play of the game is just sickening.

Don't understand how not a single person has the brains to call a TO immediately in that situation.

That clock management blunder is Bill O'Brien fault. I know that Watson and Hopkins were trying to call TO (and the dumb refs missed it for 10 seconds), but BoB should have asserted leadership and immediately and emphatically called timeout himself. Especially with a rookie at QB.

What a fail at the end. Great game overall though (iffy officiating aside). The Texans did a lot better in this game than I expected them to.

For the first time in franchise history, the Texans may finally have a legit QB.

Bill O'Brien's decisions inside the game are just as bad as his decisions outside the game.

Because one of them has had Tom Brady for 18 years?

This is so similar, but so much worse than UT-USC.

They did call timeouts, the refs flat out ignored it.

There are merits for what he's done, but then he also had a bunch of headscratchers and blunders. He's not an NFL caliber head coach when he makes these simple mistakes over and over again.

when you play not to lose instead of take the win that tends to happen, especially against brady and the patriots.

So much stupidity at the end of the game. Use a timeout to challenge the length of a punt. Run up the middle on 3rd and short. Don't shove the receiver out of bounds. Don't call a timeout after the pass up the middle. WTF! Way to blow a great game by Watson.

Agree on that 3rd and 1 call.

Secondary coverage will be give us nightmares this season.

But we're Texans. Everything has to be a struggle.

Infinitely better than the shutout vs. Brissett last year in NE.

I'll blame BoB for alot...but not that.

The defense should have held that, that was on them and the crappy secondary.

I dont disagree with the kick to go up 5 there, but the run up the middle on 3rd and 1 before that was atrocious and could have at least milked more clock with a better play and a conversion there.

BOB is on challenges solid so whatever he had them in them in the game

Same with Watson not taking the timeout but whatever. This game was unreal.

Michael Irvin calling him the Jordan of football is onto something.

He'll never forget the end of this game in the sense of experience
