Interesting that his name doesn't pop up more in the coaching carousel. Liked him over Strong for UT a few years back. He has a nice set up at TCU though. But a big welcome to the party game for them. Everyone thought the conference and even the NCG would go through the state of Oklahoma.
The end to that game and the end of the UK/UF game (where a holding penalty essentially ended UK's chances of ending the long losing streak to UF) coming within two minutes of each other had me stressed out even though I didn't have a particular rooting interest in either game. It was a great encapsulation of why I've always preferred college football to the NFL. You just don't typically get finishes like that in the pro game, and crucially, there's no real watch to watch two endings back-to-back like that unless you have Sunday Ticket.
