I don't get the Hinch criticism. It seemed like Astros survived/thrived with his management for over a month with Fiers as the ace, Cy Peacock, Martes, pre-bullpen Musgrove, Diaz, and Paulino as the other starters. As long as he keeps Sipp out of left field, He's going to be fine as a manager. If he can keep Sipp off the mound in games within 5 runs, that woukd be great too.
It's a fine move. Playing a day after night game scenario when they've already played 140+ games is the perfect scenario for a nagging annoyance to turn into a full blown injury. Doesn't matter if they get two days of rest later if they strain a hammy or tear a ligament now.
And as soon as I complain about the lack of offense they have a 4 run inning... which is par for the course.
Looked like half way up the glass. Smoked. It amazes me he doesnt hit more home runs. Strength seems to not be an issue with him.
Literally every hit and run has come from the from the first four batters.... I'm sure I'm not alone in being frustrated continuing to watch the struggles of Fisher, Kemp and White.
i think it was strange that bregman whispered something in gattis ear. gattis then went and seemed like got another bat. think they have some sort of live tell on the pitcher
