    Let me break it down for you- the way things sit now as far as projected rosters- Barring injury to key warriors, NO ONE will beat the Warriors this year.

    I've heard their are third teams who'd take Anderson. Knicks just aren't liking the return. You throw Ariza on a cheap expiring contract and a solid player to Knicks then I think you can get a deal done

    I'm a big Morey fan, but it's embarrassing that a great star like Melo is literally dying to come here and play with Paul and you can't make it happen...I'm sorry, but to me it's embarrassing!!

    So a recap.

    Deal was in place with NYK when Phil was there. We also dealt for CP3 thinking we knew the assests Phil liked.

    Phil got fired

    Parameters changed.

    I don't see how this comes back on Morey. We still got CP3 and upgraded the bench. Great offseason.

    How is it embarrassing?

    Morey put a value on melo and won't budge.

    He's not willing to trade ego, capela or ariza for him and I wouldn't either.

    Melos value isn't worth more than Ryan + NGs and 2nd rd picks.

    I trust morey more than any gm in the league and the whole presit > morey thing doesn't ring true to me.

    TBH, melo/westy/pg doesn't scare me.

    Look at what we gave up for CP3 and look at what they gave up for PG and Melo(likely)..WOW!!,

    OKC would've given up only 1 player that started for them in the playoffs in Oladipo in order to add Melo and PG...ridiculous

    I don't think melo waived his trade kicker to go to any team but the rockets.

    That is my guess or hope at least. That would require old to ship an additional 6m or so

    I bet it is more likely he's a Rocket than going to the Lakers and being a babysitter. Lebron tryna get rings. Never got the Lakers argument.

    I'm so pissed I'll be laughing @ Morey when E.G. is hurt and Ariza disappears for a few months, etc. Sorry man, but that's just how I feel..
