Knicks, Rockets working on Carmelo Anthony trade scenarios

I get the 1st part is debatable, don't get the apples to oranges.

I just can't see him offering up 2 1st round picks, especially when they both won't convey until the 2020's.

 

We're not trading two 1st rounders in this deal lol, in fact i think Morey is not even throwing in one 1st tbh, with Anderson, a 1st rounder and fillers (2nd rounder/s, Hartenstein etc) the trade would've been done already considering the situation, to me at least...i just don't see the Knicks passing a 1st with one/two young players and a couple of 2nd rounders when they have no leverage whatsoever. Morey is probably going for the jugular, and that's probably why the deal is not done yet.

 

Probably had too and it made sense to do whatever to get Paul. Just hate the waiting game because in reality the Rockets would have to work out the chemistry between the core players and the trade deadline only gives you around 30 games and if this were the East okay cause the 1st round is a bye basically for a team like this but in the West it's a dog fight.

absolutely true this needs to get done sooner then later. more time they have together better chemistry will be built and get on the same page

 

why would you compare a team with melo and another team without melo?

if you campare both teams then each team should have melo

from melo's POV which team is better if he joins them

What if Rockets execute a three way trade where Third Team X gets Ryan Anderson, Knicks get Third Team X's players, and Houston gets Joakim Noah...and then upon execution of the deal Knicks buyout Melo. Everyone wins?

 

Yep, and i think that's fine, especially if they already had a deal with Mills before Perry got involved.

And if we're right this would also mean that Melo is hellbent about coming here and he'll not change his mind (which is what he already did years ago when he was in Denver btw).

 

Rockets being stuck with Noah's contract is not a win

People really think that Morey would ever anchor himself to that contract? Noah is done.

I'm surprised Melo to OKC hasn't gotten more buzz by ESPN in order to create another story out of nothing

 

If Melo is bought out, how do we know Melo is coming here for sure? Imagine we got Noah for Anderson, then Melo goes to the Cavs after the buyout, lol

And even if we know for sure Melo is coming after buyout, I still say hell no to Joakim Freaking Noah.

Melo wants to be traded only here, why would he sign with another team if bought out?
