    I've heard quite a few people say this and personally I don't understand that logic at all. Dame and CJ is already a questionable fit as those two are identical players but they just barely make it work. Now you want to add a 6'8 version of those two and think it's a better fit than pairing him with two of the most unselfish, elite passers/playmakers in the game lol.

    I'd take it. Asset acquistion should be their focus.

    2 1st rounders is cake
    Ryno can be dealt at the deadline or during next summer for something of more value. 2/40 is easier to move than 3/60.
    Joe Chee maybe to add some youthful depth.

    They'd have KP, WHG, Hardaway, Ntilikina, Qi and Kuzminkas plus a top 7 draft pick due to the tank. It's not a great core but it's got potential going forward.

    I love Bomani Jones!

    He's the only guy in the media who is suggesting that Carmelo Anthony stick to his guys and hold out for a trade to Houston. He was on todays PTI

    He basically just called the Trailblazers garbage and not worth Melo's time of day. What is this media obsession with Melo accepting a trade to Portland anyway?

    Are they saying that Portland with Melo would be a better team than Houston without Melo? Or are they saying that Portland with Melo > Houston with Melo? The first would (i guess?) be debatable (although i still like Houston more) whereas the second is just stupid.

    Gotta give up something that the Knicks can actually utilize.

    If you guys still had Dekker this probably gets done because he's young and fits the Knicks timeline and what they're looking for.

    I trust Morey to recoup whatever assets lost to build a team to compete for a title.
