The Knicks have had talks with teams for several months about trading Anthony but nothing has come to fruition. Anthony has a no-trade clause, and his top priority has been a desire to be traded to the Houston Rockets.

Both the Knicks and Anthony remain committed to finding a scenario that ends with Anthony on another team, according to league sources.

Yeah, I know that man. I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade and all or anything like that. Was just giving my honest review of the whole Melo saga. I will go back to playing with my play-doh now, thanks.

I'm sorry but in my opinion Melo didn't do enough to clearly show the Knicks that not trading him would be a bad idea. Being politically correct in interviews and playing pick up games with his Knicks teammates didn't exactly come off as a disgruntled player demanding a trade. There is no way they would risk him being a locker room cancer if they really thought he would act out. They called his bluff and he folded.

    Feigen should have followed with,

"Yeah, but did you read Codman's recent post on CFnet?"

He still has plenty of time. One response to the NY media where he shows his displeasure is all it takes.

Haha. I don't think Melo should listen to such advice. This is business. The Knicks aren't gonna be like "no way we acquire Ryno" Melo acts out...."ok we'll take Ryno, please just let's move on from Melo"

    Melo has been too mellow

Melo should be putting out that vibe of "u better trade me to Houston ASAP or things will get real sh*tty around here"...Kyrie let it be known that he wouldn't attend training camp if he was still in Cleveland

Melo cares about his image too much tho and probably doesn't want to be seen as a villain on his way out the door...Codman did say that his endgame is to be a problem behind the scenes if he's still in NY once training camp starts so we'll see what happens
