Melo has so little leverage that he's not getting traded to any team not named Houston Rockets

With that said, everyone knows the Knicks don't want Anderson, but everyone also knows that they wouldn't get him in a Melo trade.

And again, even if Melo would waive the no trade for other teams at some point, he would do that for Cleveland, the Cavs can easily get him in that case by just throwing in Crowder which is a better player and contract than Harkless so...yeah.

 

We have players to offer. We just aren't dumb enough to offer them.

You're pretty dumb. Cavs would need more than Crowder. Cavs don't have additional assets that Knicks would take. If Knicks don't get Anderson in Melo deal, who would they get?

What's cool about this is that we don't have to offer the best, cause Melo only wants to come here. He would have agreed to Portland earlier if he wanted to go there.

1. Anderson would go to a third team (maybe Portland lol)
2. Melo would eventually waive the no trade for the Cavs first

I hope drexlerfan is a fan of his play and not commentary, because those "well your not gonna win if you don't make a basket" or "if you can't rebound the ball you want not win the boards game" analysis lines are the worst.

 

Don't be an idiot. A deal centered around Gordon and Capela would get Melo here. So would a Gordon Ariza deal or several other combinations of players. They Blazers don't have better assets. They just have better expendable ones.
