    Gotta be honest, my "Hot Take" is along with LeBron going to the Lakers......perhaps even Westbrook & George. Perhaps use/trade Lonzo Ball to get rid of Luol Deng's contract. Capologists, could the Lakers make that math work?

    Well this would be exactly what the Knicks want. If the camp really wants him to come to Houston then they need to just keep their mouths shut and say Houston or Melo will opt in and be one hell of a circus act which will bring his stock down even further. No one is going to give anything of value for a 33 yr old one year rental with an attitude problem. If the Knicks think the Ryan Anderson package is bad wait until Portland realizes all they have to do is give them Meyers Leonard.

    If LeBron is willing to waste away the last year's of his career in LA fine by me. We all know he's got a much better chance of winning if he comes here.

    Marcellus saying his source still saying that melo to Houston. Melo feels he is out the door. Waiting on sale of rockets first.

    Marcellus: My sources who have played cards? with the Carmelo Anthony & his camp broke it down a few weeks ago and told me that Carmelo & his people believe they're out of town, they're Houston bound.

    Before media day?

    This was before media day. What held it up was the sale of the Houston Rockets. Obviously a priority. They then sold the franchise. He's really under the impression that next week Monday, it may/will happen.

    LZ: Did your source talk about Ryan Anderson? Seems like he's the real reason the trade has not gone through.

    Marcellus: The reason Chris Paul went to Houston in part was the thought that Carmelo would be the joining piece.

    Will be interesting to see what happens. The Knicks lack of involvement with Melo is not a good negotiating tactic.

    Morey has his "Best and Final" on the table and is going to wait this out until they give in or release the guy.

    If Melo was really considering leaving the Knicks for a different team than the Rockets, Melo would have let CP3/Harden know this. Hence, Morey would need to give in something else to get this done.

    As long as the player communication is going on, then there is no reason to believe Melo is going somewhere else.

    How would sell affect deal?

    If I'm selling something and already have a buyer just waiting for approval, I ask them if they are cool with trade. I feel knicks don't think I'm being honest, I get Tillman on the phone.

    Seems like BS. Any other reason a sell would after trade?

    I think it was more of the fact that Morey/Tad were preoccupied with the team sale process, not that the new owner would want to renegotiate the trade.

    Marcellus Wiley seems like he's trolling. Why would the sell of the Rockets hold the deal up? It's Mills dumb azz who's holding the deal up just to seem like he's in control. I hope Carmelo does not go to Portland smh
