He had his 30+ years as being a father to show how much he actually loves children and from all accounts he was a very distant dad.

You can hate on Obama all you want, but I don't think anyone here would deny that Obama is the better family man. Stuck with one woman his entire life and was very active in the raising of his children.

However it really has little to do with how utterly incompetent this man is. I can live with a less than ideal father figure as president... Not someone who doesn't understand the difference between life and health insurance.

all accounts. lolz. his kids aren't drug addicts and seem fine enough. Trumps is a moron but no reason to call him a bad dad.

 

Being absent is what I call a bad dad and from all accounts, all of Trump's wives were responsible for raising them. It's very well known that he was absent in most of their lives other than providing access to massive wealth.

Again, I really don't feel that comfortable doging the dude for his fathering skills. There are plenty worse and you are right, his children are not drug addict criminals but that also is a very low bar.

I guess my point is that this image shouldn't really rationally alter one's opinion of Trump. It's a low hanging fruit or stunt and yes I'm sure Obama has done similar price stunts.

Go Google yourself. Multiple ex-wives have explicitly stated that they raised then essentially by themselves. I don't care. If he was competent, and still the same type of father, I wouldn't care. Google it yourself. He never was going to win dad of the year. Usually dude's who have multiple celebrity and supermodel wives don't make the best dads.

Don't be naive. Why would a child of a billionaire presidental candidate say bad things about his dad? So much on the line. Inhereritences and influence.

No they don't count now. All his children except one( the one who coincidentally has never commented about him as a father) are active political players who have gained massive influence in the world's most powerful government. They have every reason to not be truthful of their dad's negatives and have so much to loose now from breaking ties with their father. Don't be naive.

 

Frank was all bidness, didn't even say hi when Trump came by shows how focused he was. Dad raised him good. Trump is right, we need kids like this.

 

Good for the kid! Frank needs to hit the weight room, though, if he wants a long career as a lawn-care professional. Can't let the equipment push him around on the grass.

 

I agree with tallanvor here. Similiarly, we can't say "by all accounts, Iran is developing nuclear weapons" because Iran's leadership disagrees. Nor can we say "by all accounts, ISIS is bad" or, "by all accounts, 9/11 was done by extremists", or "by all accounts, Trump won the election". As long as 1 person disagrees, you're simply wrong.
