For phone experts which of these two Samsung phones are better? The Galaxy J3 Luna Pro and the Galaxy J3 Sky. The luna pro is newer, has a slightly faster processor and newer bluetooth version, but the galaxy sky has a super amoled screen that the luna pro doesn't list. Which one is better? thanks in advance!
The question was between the 2 listed. If you've nothing constructive to add then I'm sure your incredible wit could be better used elsewhere!
Perfectly reasonable question. If you need it primarily for calls or primarily for accessing the Internet.
Is there a reason why you're limiting your choices to just those two phones? Also what carrier is this for?
Tracfone. Basically it comes down to a 2017 1.4ghz processor vs a 2016 1.2ghz processor but with an amoled screen (both 5" screens). I just don't know how much better an amoled screen is against a "normal" screen. thanks for replying.
AMOLED screens generally will look nicer and give you slightly better battery life since unlike LCD screens they dont have to light up the whole screen. With that said, I've never cared all that much but in a tiebreaker situation, you probably want the AMOLED. With that said, I would recommend that you stay far away from mid level Samsung devices. They age horribly. Samsung still makes its versions of Android way too heavy and bloated and combined. Plus those midrange devices will never get updates and will lose support in a year. For the money you're paying for that you can buy a good unlocked phone that you can use on tracfone that will last you a lot longer and give you a better experience.
If $100 is you price point (and if you have Amazon prime) i'd recommend the Moto E4. Unlike Samsung, Lenovo/Motorola runs a very lightweight and virtually stock version of Android (and its running Android 7.1.1). It has other quality of life features like a removable back and a fingerprint scanner. The BLU phone is nice but it has the same longevity issues that Samsung has. I've always felt that Moto budget phones tend to do the best overall as far as performance given their specs.
