LOL! Do you believe the people that were called racist would have voted for Hillary had they not been called racist? That is a shock.

Is claiming that a broadcaster on ESPN received her job because of her political views your example of showing empathy and talking to others like adults?

Then you accuse others of having bullshit reasoning? Okay, doctor.

Which part are you disagreeing with? Are you saying that

    1. White supremists, neo-nazis, white nationalists and other racists DID NOT vote for Trump? Or the fact that,
    2. Most white supremists, neo-nazis, white nationalists and other racists ARE NOT POOR, and also DID NOT vote against their own interests?

Or... third option. You're just trying to change the topic. Like Trump. Don't like what you hear, deflect and change topic. LOL

I guess republicans (or originally Hillary voters) are snowflakes.

They voted for Trump instead of Hillary because someone called them a racist. Not because they were actually racist and afraid of Mexicans, Muslims, and other minorities taking over the country and butthurt over having a Black president for 8 years.

Those white supremists and nazis in Charlottesville would have voted for Hillary; if not for the liberal racists calling them white supremists and neo-nazis.

I have no idea who they voted for or even if they voted. Your claim was that 'Trump is President because white supremists, neo-nazis, white nationalists and other racists voted him'. That is absolutely false.

person wants to hear a political discussion about immigration so they listen to both views. one side says 'massive immigration has hurt low income wages' the other side says 'your a white supremacist' .

Its not hard to figure out who wins this discussion.

ESPN is a business. They had a business decision when someone associated with them voiced an opinion considered offensive to some, but accurate to other. No matter what ESPN execs' personal views are, they had to make a choice based on how to minimize the financial damage to the company from some of their customers being mad at them.

The truth is, Hill has her freedom of speech, ESPN has its freedom of commerce, and viewers have their freedom to consume or not consume contents from any content producers. We all get to make our choices and live with the consequences.

The only inappropriate part to me is the White House spokesperson, Sarah Sanders, suggesting that ESPN fire Hill. The First Amendment means that the government doesn't get to punish someone for their sree speech, particularly political speech, even if government officials find such speech offensive. I know this isn't throwing Hill in prison for her speech, but having a government involved in anyway in suggesting some sort of (private) punishment for an opinion makes me nervous.

The White House can say that POTUS strongly disagree with Hill and finds the opinion ridiculous and offensive and whatever, but to suggest Hill's employers punish Hill is not OK to me.

    Wrong.

My claim was white supremists, neo-nazis, white nationalists and other racists voted him in despite the majority of them being poor and voting against their own interests. Both parts of that statement = true. Oh yeah, the "Trump is president because" part?

You mean when you said "Jemele Hill has a job because of her political views make her part of the tribe"? Where are your facts for that?

Massive immigration has "taken all of our jobs"

Yup, sounds about right how white nationalists view immigrants and minorities.

I'm sorry but when was finding low wage seasonal employment an issue?

Finding low wage employment isn't a problem in this country. Underemployment is an issue and I don't know how illegal migration influences that.

I don't know how someone with a degree in humanaties and can't find a job pertaining to their education has anything to do with immigration.

agreed. Like i said, yelling 'white supremacist' is not compelling and is a total turn off.

Your statement/assumption on the reason Jemele Hill has at job at ESPN is wrong

My statement regarding Trump is president because "white supremists, neo-nazis, white nationalists and other racists voted him in despite the majority of them being poor and voting against their own interests" is partially true because 99.99999% of white supremists, nazis and KKK voted for Trump.

Just like Trump, white supremists hate being called white supremist or racists. It's worse than being called the N-word.

Racists hate being called racists. Funny isn't it?

But yet going back to @fchowd0311 point, calling someone a racist has never turned them into a racist. Or white supremacist turning into a white supremist. That's some Grade A BS right there. ROFL

"I'm racist because you called me a racist!"

everyone hates being called a white supremacist. If any group would be ok with it, it would be white supremacists.

Those groups make up like maybe 6% of the total population and if those groups could sway an election, you'd have never had Obama elected.

I don't care about Trump. Also, white supremacists are garbage and I hope they all eat a dick.

Neither of those things has anything to do with the comment you responded to though.
