Basketball -- Charles Barkley -- I rebound really hard, and I back anyone down into the paint. I take too many 3s when I shouldn't, but when I get on a roll, I'll hit a bunch of them. Once I hit 18 3s in a row. Then I missed 7 or 8.
Baseball -- George Brett -- When I was little I even looked like him. I played 3rd base, moved to first, always hit for GREAT average.
Football -- Mike Alstott -- I can't run fast, but no one's bringin' me down . . . I also catch the ball REALLY well.

    Basketball - Matt Maloney
    Football - Matt Stevens
(In other words, slow white guy with not much game)

Golf - just like anyone else that actually looks up to the weekend hackers for advice.

Football- Tony Gonzales, a big, strong tight end that is quicker than a TE and stronger and bigger than a WR.

Basketball- Jamal Mashburn. Able to dish the rock, play in the post, hit the three and run the team from the point.

Golf- John Daly, I average around 280 yards a drive, but my short game is up and down. As a result, my much shorter driving father and grandfather, who have masterful short games, kick my ass on a regular basis. :(

    Indeed!

I'm quite proud of my Greg Ostertagian ability to cause 20 turnovers and foul out before halftime.

Basketball: My game resembles Mark Price, with a little Bullard/Chilly Pete thrown in on the side.

I think someone on this BBS should quote me in their profile with this.

I mean, come on, I made up a new word!

Basketball: Reggie Miller...i'm constantly running and wearing out my defender, and pretty much all I can do is shoot. I'm also good at sneaking in for offensive rebounds, don't know who that is. Some people have compared me to John Stockton for this, being pesky in that way...that just pisses me off when they do, so I play harder. :)

Football: Well, at QB, i'm like Dilfer...will keep you in the game, no turnovers, but no deep balls. At WR I'm like Ricky Proehl or some other slot possession reciever. Anywhere else I pretty much suck.

Baseball: Can't hit anything but grounders. Great accuracy pitching, but no velocity. I don't know who that is.

HAAAH. you the ****. Whenever I tease somebody, I call them Corky from life goes on.
It's really stupid and innappropiate to say it, but um, it's a friendly thing. Which isn't friendly at all. But um. Nevermind

    ---

    To the good stuff.

    Basketball.
It all depends on who I play. If I play bigger, taller, skilled players, I am more of a point guard mold. Probably Steve Nash but I can't shoot as well, or Gary Payton. I do like to pass however.

If I play smaller, shorter, less skilled players, I play somewhat like actually, I don't know. I play like Michael Jordan. Yeah, I play like Michael Jordan.

    eh

Touch/Flag Football, on D, I play like Deion Sanders. Shut down corner. I don't like pysicallity though. On the other side of the ball, as a WR, I don't know. I like to run around in circles in the middle. It's not like they are going to knock my ass out.

Hockey. I remember playing floor hockey in jr high, and high school. I played Goalie to start. I play like Patrick Roy. I do it butterfly style. WHen I come out of the net and switch sticks, I play like uh any North American. I dump the puck in, and we chase it. I don't have the skills of those Euros.

In intermediate/early high school, I was a fat post guy and patterened my game after Barkley. I later lost 80 pounds and any recognizable identity as I could no longer bang in the post and was forced to develop a mediocre outside game. Now a year removed from knee surgery I am fat again, so Danny DeVito is probably the best comparison.

Though if the goal is lowered to eight feet, I become Shaq. ;)

Tim Duncan. I use the glass well at various different angles.

I'm a pitcher so I don't know who I resemble most but my arm action is 3/4 and I throw a good high hard heater. I got a little curve that can get nasty on occasion but for the most part it gets hitters because it's more off speed then anything. But on the rare occasion that it snaps hard it's beautiful to watch, and makes me giggle on the inside like a school girl. My changeup is probably my best pitch when I throw it low and away on lefties and my curve is better against righties who lean out too much over the plate. :D

Football, I don't really play but when I was younger I'd play a little bit of running back. I could carry a few kids trying to drag me down by my ankles, have them hanging on my back and still run it full distance for a TD. I used to be a bigger kid then but now I'm more average in height and weight. Still got the broad shoulders and good frame though, and strong legs for pitching. :D
