    It would not make them (3rd team)idiots to help make the deal. This is more to do with NY trying to screw over Melo/Rockets than disliking any offers.

    People acting like Ryno is some scrub who shoots 15% from 3.

    There are numerous ridiculous overinflated salaries in the NBA right now at various talent levels so to turnaround and be scared of Anderson's contract is quite dumb. It's a bargain by comparison.

    Morey doesn't want him that bad or it would already be done. And if we lose CP3 next year and go down in flames it sure would be nice to have our 2020 draft pick.

    Still true. It was not meant as an attack, just stating what I see. All summer people have posted there thoughts on this trade with very little facts. Even your comments come from your sources that others do not know, so same as no sources to everyone else. Not saying they don't exist, just not able to verify. Hard to take anything on faith in this age of tweeter and instant fake news.

    You're right that Ryno is being labelled to be a lot worst than he actually is. But still that is not a salary a team would take on for what he brings to the table unless you are getting rid of garbage contracts in place.
    I just think people got way ahead of themselves with all the rumours and now the idea is stuck in their head that he's going to be a rocket that they're being a little unrealistic. For example I've seen Detroit being labeled as a third team with Tobias Harris being a piece. Maybe he doesn't fit in with the current system, and maybe Stan dos like Ryno; I still don't see that front office taking in Ryno who gets paid more and has an extra year over a player who is a few years younger and an overall better player; all for a trade that doesn't tip the scales much. Teams are not taking back salaries unless they're getting solid picks. We don't have that.
