There's already a thread http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...tmacs-jersey-if-he-makes-hall-of-fame.279735/ Do the Rockets retire Tmac's jersey if he makes Hall of Fame? Discussion in 'Houston Rockets: Game Action & Roster Moves' started by Snow Villiers, Jan 6, 2017.
T-Mac made Yao a better and improved player by larger margin. Imagine if T-mac was not traded to Houston, Yao may not have been in HOF or retired by Rockets.
I voted no... Efficiency is super important to me. Harden has it, and with us, TMac didn't. Glad I don't have to watch that 18 foot pull up jumper ever again as I yell at the tv, "Take it to the hole!" Injuries probably played into that...
Even if you hated him, he (along with Yao) was the face of the Rockets during a significant time period in which we won a lot of games. And now he's a Hall Of Famer! Time for #1 to be in the rafters. And please save it if you disagree. Ive loved the Rockets my entire life, long before Tmac came. But I have great memories of watching Tmac as a teenager with my dad. Recording games and staying up till my dad could get home and watch with me. If you hate him thats fine, he made his share of mistakes. Im not gonna convince you to be a fan of someone you're not a fan of. But its time to move on and do the right thing by retiring his jersey.
Even as someone who liked T-Mac, I don't think 4 1/2 good seasons as a Rocket, paired with no playoff success, should be enough to get your jersey retired.
by posting these two pics what are you trying to accomplish? wtf does harden have to do with anything?
