It doesn't matter if they scan your digital ticket on your phone, or swipe a credit card used to purchase the ticket (Flashseats method) or not; the ticket checkers at all games and concerts I've been to still print out a ticket from that mobile printer hanging on their belts. So, yes. Everyone in TC has an actual printed ticket. Even airports print boarding tickets at the gate from a scan, right?, right as you are boarding.
Then they punch your phone! Seriously, if anything like that were to be considered at the Toy Box, I'm sure the logistics could be figured out. As someone pointed out, corporate season ticket users might not care about incentives to get them to come earlier. In all honesty, starting games later would likely fill the lower bowl sooner than any idea regarding incentives someone like me could come up with. Games should start no earlier than 7:30, in my opinion, except for weekend games on Saturday or Sunday (or a holiday), when earlier times would be easier to make in a timely fashion. I've always thought that the 7pm start times were crazy. 7:30 or even 8 would be my personal preference. My kids are adults now, though. Don't know how later start times would affect others with kids. When ours were young, 7:30 would be fine. They were too excited to be at a game to have a half hour make a dimes worth of difference.
Bring back the Big Mac Attack!! If we score 120 points each home game. I.E. bring the old schools stuff back from the 90s. Fans these days are more like Facebook fans... likes and stuff. Fans who bleed Rocket Red, from that era, Come early and stay late.
