Great gesture by Tmac to bring a little distraction and joy to these people who probably got hit hard by the hurricane. Although he didn't take us to the promise land or sometimes seems like he quit. We're all flawed as human and it's just a game. Him stepping up and doing a bbq for the victims is much more of an accomplishment.

After my friends brand new house got flooded and all his cars totaled, we see what's really important in life. He's going to have to start all over with his fiancé and basketball is just basketball. Sometimes the forum is hard to browse with all the bickering and trolling. I'm going on a tangent but good job tmac!

Yup, you can question the player McGrady but at heart he was always a kind soul off the court.

I am sure it began prior to the Darfur project.

At this point, I don't care about his accomplishments on the court and this thread shouldn't be about that. Thank you Tmac for helping the people of Houston. Every little thing at this point helps.

20/20 hindsight. He and Vince could have dominated the East.

The duo that would've won a ring if it weren't for injuries

I don't think so. We weren't better than the Lakers or Spurs.

When they weren't injured they lost in the first round to the Mavericks and Jazz, and we had homecourt advantage against the Jazz.
Tmac fell in love with the pull up 3 , he really wasn't a great 3 point shooter and every team just fronted Yao to deny him the ball.

Coming close to winning a title is losing a Game 7 in the NBA Finals, not a duo that never won a playoff series when healthy.
